Model Auditions

This Saturday 26th of January
&
Saturday 2nd of February

4pm-7pm

The Art School Union, 468 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, Glasgow City, G2 3LW

The auditions will be held between 16:00 and 19:00 in the Art School Union for both males and females.

Please note that female models should bring high heels.

The fashion show will be held in March and models need to be available during the day on Monday 4th and both during the day and in the evening on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th of March 2013.

The fashion show at GSA has been a spectacular event since it began in the 1940's and gets a lot of media attention. It acts as a fundraiser that enables students to exhibit their graduating collections at the New Designers Exhibition in London. Unfortunately we are unable to offer cash payment to the models, although a complimentary ticket for the show will be offered. However, we hope you will agree the show provides an excellent experience on the catwalk for both new and experienced models.

We really hope you can attend!

Fashion Show Collection Design Project 2013

Over the winter break the 3rd year fashion and textiles students have been busy getting to work on the live fashion show project in conjunction with The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland celebrating The Ballets Russes. We have been working on phase 1 of the project where we have been observing and recording the 'desirable' qualities and colour within our researched material. Here is some of the work we have produced so far.
